Hello Everyone.
Today’s post is an update of my progress on my very first FALL BUCKET LIST. While I am a chronic list-maker, I have never made a BUCKET LIST.
This year, I was invited by a fellow blogger, Leslie, over at Once upon a time & Happily ever after, to join her AUTUMN BUCKET LIST linky. I agreed. What happened next was the creation of quite a lengthy list of 19 things I wanted to do this fall.
Its been a little over a month since I created that list, and I am happy to report that I have managed to get 10 of the 19 items checked off my list. My hope is to check off the other 9 items before the start of winter! I still have a while left to get it done.
Let’s look at my accomplishments.
Number 1 on my completed list was my Boho Stacking Bracelets tutorial. You will find a video on how I created these cute bracelets.
Number 2 on my completed list is my visit to a craft show. I actually stumbled upon the Faith Tabernacle Craft Show. The show had lots of farmhouse style crafts and Christmas decorations. It also had a fun boho booth that I could have stayed in for hours. I may have a project in the making from an idea I saw there.
Number 3 on my completed list was to create a list of items that I will make to go into my family’s gift baskets this year. I actually created a few items that I will be sharing in another post, so stay tuned for that.
Number 4 on my list was to attend a grandbabies ballgame. I was so blessed to be able to attend a football game that my grandson played in, and my granddaughter cheered at.
Number 5 on my completed list was my HALLOWEEN GNOME post and video that you can see here.
Number 6 on my list was to see a movie with my sister and have dinner. We went to see “Joker”. My sister is a great Super Hero fan and the new Joker movie was a must-see. I enjoyed it way more than I expected to and I have to say I was hooked! Now I will have to go back to watch all the Batman Series.
We finished the day with dinner at my house. I cooked her favorite meal Italian Shrimp Lafayette. There may be a future post on that recipe.
Number 7 on my list “Start the 100 things I am grateful for list”. So far I have 44 things I am thankful for. Probably another post in the making.
Number 8 on my list is to try a new local restaurant. We visited a local restaurant for my sister’s birthday. Baytown Seafood had absolutely delicious fried oysters! We will definitely be eating here again and recommending it to friends.
Number 9 is to Finish Halloween Painted Rocks. I did, and posted them here.
And Number 10 was to organize my ribbon stash to take in my RV. I did this, and OH MY GOSH! I was really able to condense my collection! The empty spools on the right took up way more room than the plastic container on the left!
All in all, I am pretty proud of my accomplishments. I got just over half of them done. I will post my updates as the close of Autumn nears.
Thanks Leslie for inviting me to join you. I will be posting this update over at Leslie’s MY AUTUMN BUCKET LIST UPDATE linky.
Until next time!
