VALENTINE’S DAY GIFT CARD HOLDERS

GYPSY CRAFTS

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited about this little craft for Valentine’s Day! My Valentine’s Day Gift Card Holders are so easy and quick to make! They only take about 10 minutes to make and they are super cute!

You can follow along with my quick tutorial, or you can check out the 7 easy steps in the printed tutorial below the video.

7 Easy Steps

Valentine's Day GIFT CARD HOLDERS | Grace for a Gypsy
  1. Flatten a toilet tissue tube or a paper towel tube cut to 3 3/4 inches.

2. Cut, mark, and tape scrapbook paper. I used red double-sided tape because its easier to see but it doesn’t have to be this brand tape. See the photo.

3. Attach the paper to the tube by folding in sides with short strips of tape.

4. Cut the side edges of the scrapbook paper on top and bottom of the tube. Cut down to the cardboard tube only.

5. Peel double-sided tape from edges and fold inside of the tube on top and bottom.

6. Tape inside the bottom of the tube and seal the bottom creating a pocket.

7. Embellish and insert your gift card or folded cash!

I hope you enjoyed this little craft as much as I did! The possibilities are endless! You can make these for any occasion! In the near future, I will get my post finished and show the ones I made for Christmas!

Until next time!

So cute. And a great way to use up some odds and ends in my scrapbook paper collection. Wish my 9 year old grand lived close enough to do this with her. Next year maybe.

Such a cute idea! I love projects that re-use things we would otherwise throw away.

These are adorable!! Thanks so much for stopping by and for all your kind comments!! Glad to hear you are retiring at the end of the year…It is an adjustment and it will take awhile to get used to the change especially being home with your husband all the time. Mine took the first year off and then got a part time job where he work 15-20 hours a week and loves it. now he enjoys going to work and he is not killing himself like he was as a mail man being out in all kinds of elements….. I hope you are having a great weekend!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie
