GNOMES AND MORE GNOMES

GYPSY CRAFTS
GNOMES, AND MORE GNOMES!

It seems like these little creatures are everywhere and their popularity just keeps growing. I’ve been making them this year, and the more I make them, the more I like them. The holiday craft show season sure put me in the mood to make some Christmas gnomes. I’ve made them before, but this year I caught the bug and I can’t STOP making them!

CRAFT SHOW SEASON

October is when the craft show season kicks off in most areas. Many crafters work all year long preparing for the Holiday Craft Show season. I certainly work on crafts during the year, but I ramped up my game in August to prepare for when the October shows begin.

I’ve been a craft show vendor for many years. In fact, I raised my girls dragging them to events, eating festival foods, and having them nap under display tables (true story). I decided to start doing it again after taking several years off, and this year I am making gnomes and so far they have been very popular.

I face painted at a small church Car and Craft Show and I took my little village. There was a small crowd, but I still did very well. The beach gnomes are very popular in local shows because we live on the Texas Gulf Coast, but the Fall and Christmas ones sold too! Seems like people just can’t get enough of these little guys. Here are some pictures from the show.

I am simply amazed at how popular these little guys are! And until it runs its course, it will be gnomes and more gnomes at my house! What about you? Do you like them? You can see some more of my creations at my Etsy Store and on my Facebook page. Be sure to check out my other posts about them!

Thanks for stopping by!
