Recently I made tealight party favors for a baby shower in my family. We needed 30 favors and found this project to be incredibly cute and easy to do.
Supplies
- bag of 100 tealights
- (2) 3-packs decorative tape
- roll of tulle
- curly ribbon
The first thing I did was to cover the sides of the tealights with the tape. The tape comes in several widths, so I made sure I got tape in a width that would cover the edges.
I cute tulle long enough to wrap a stack of three tealights, and tied a curly ribbon around the top.
This project was very inexpensive and quick to put together. I got 33 tealight party favors for $20, less if you use your Michael’s and Hobby Lobby coupons!
We used these tealights at a baby shower but you could use them as party favors for any occasion or party.
