Hello to all you GRACE FOR A GYPSY followers! As many of you know, I have been a crafter and painter all of my life, painting on lots of different things. Recently I have started painting faces again! This fall I attended several flea markets and festivals in the area. I am happy to say Texas has lots of opportunities for face painting!
2021 Events
The Old River Winfree Founder’s Day Festival was a hit! It was a beautiful day, and they had a great turnout! I was hired by the festival to paint faces in the kid’s section of the event and boy did I! I painted over 90 kids! Thank goodness my friend Christy was with me and was a great help! The waiting list was long and I couldn’t have done it without her. I painted non-stop for 7 hours, while Christy managed the line! We had a great time and hope to do this festival again next year.
We had another busy day at the Lumberton Trade Days. The event was held in Lumberton’s beautiful city park. It was a gorgeous day, with mild October temps and a nice crowd. I was set up next to my niece and nephew and they were a great help to me. We were both happily surprised by the turnout that day and the success our booths had.
Smiling Faces
Kids love having their faces painted. It gives them a chance to be that famous princess or superhero for the day! There is nothing like seeing the smiles and pure joy on each child as they look at their freshly painted faces in the mirror.
I will be available to face paint at birthday parties, church events, and festivals in my area. I use only professional face paints and cosmetic glitters approved for use on the face and body.
